The Cazador is equipped with the latest electronics (GPS, color video sounder, radar, VHF radio, SSB Radio); USCG safety equipment; live well; fighting chair; Penn International and Shimano reels with custom-built rods; and Billy Pate fly reels with Orvis fly rods. Bobby McGuinness was selected world’s top captain of 2006 and 2010 by the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), and has set more IGFA world records than any other captain fishing in Costa Rica.
He is also on Saltwater Sportsman magazine’s list of the world’s top 50 saltwater sportfishing charter captains. And he was recognized by the Billfish Foundation for tagging more Pacific Blue Marlin than any other captain in 2016.

PRAISE out of Puerto Jiménez with Diego Chavarria, who specializes in inshore fishing assisted by an English-speaking mate, is a custom-built 26-foot Center Console Panga fitted with twin 100HP Yamaha outboards.

CAZADOR CHARTER RATES AND HOURS:
FULL DAY – The CAZADOR’s full-day rate for the 2020 season is $1,800.00, one to six anglers. She leaves the dock at Golfito or Puerto Jiménez at 7 AM, and returns between 4 and 4:30 PM. On request and where possible, clients can be met at other destinations in the area.
HALF DAY – The CAZADOR’s half-day rate is $1,250.00. On half days, the Cazador leaves at 7 AM, and returns between 11:30 AM and 12 noon. On request and where possible, clients can be met at other destinations in the area. She will only do half days in the off season.
OVERNIGHT – On two- and three-day overnighters, the Cazador leaves the dock at 4 AM, and returns at about 4 PM on Day 2 or Day 3. The rate is $2,400.00 per day, one to three anglers. A fourth angler can sometimes be accommodated on request on two-day, one-night overnighters.
EXTENDED DAY – Bobby also offers extended day charters at $2,250.00 per day, one to six anglers. The Cazador leaves the dock at 4 AM and returns between 4 and 4:30 PM on the same day.
OVERNIGHTERS ON THE IRON II – Four/five anglers can enjoy two-day, three night, and three-day, four-night overnighters on the 54ft IRON II, a comfortable Riviera Yacht. The Iron leaves the dock at 6 PM (you are not charged for that night, it does not count), and returns at about 4 AM on Day 3 or Day 4. The rate is $3,100.00 per day, one to four anglers.
PRAISE CHARTER RATES AND HOURS:
FULL DAY – The PRAISE’s full-day rate is $950.00 out of Puerto Jiménez, and $1,050.00 out of Golfito. She leaves the dock at Puerto Jiménez or Golfito at 7 AM, and returns between 4 and 4:30 PM.
HALF DAY – The PRAISE’s half-day rate is $650.00 out of Puerto Jiménez, and $750.00 out of Golfito. She leaves the dock at Puerto Jiménez or Golfito at 7 AM, and returns between 11:30 AM and 12 noon. Note: On half days, the Praise fishes inshore only.
SEXTO SENTIDO CHARTER RATES AND HOURS:
FULL DAY – The SEXTO SENTIDO’s full-day rate is $650.00 out of Puerto Jiménez, and $750.00 out of Golfito She leaves the dock at Puerto Jiménez or Golfito at 7 AM, and returns between 4 and 4:30 PM.
HALF DAY – The SEXTO SENTIDO’s half-day rate is $475.00 out of Puerto Jiménez, and $575.00 out of Golfito. She leaves the dock at Puerto Jiménez or Golfito at 7 AM, and returns between 11:30 AM and 12 noon. Note: On half days, the Sexto Sentido fishes inshore only.
