The Cazador is equipped with the latest electronics (GPS, color video sounder, radar, VHF radio, SSB Radio); USCG safety equipment; live well; fighting chair; Penn International and Shimano reels with custom-built rods; and Billy Pate fly reels with Orvis fly rods. Bobby McGuinness was selected world's top captain of 2006 and 2010 by the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), and has set more IGFA world records than any other captain fishing in Costa Rica.

BOBBY McGUINNESS AND THE CAZADOR will be partipating in the prestigious Offshore World Championship from April 15-18, 2013 at Pez Vela Marina in Quepos. It is the largest global offshore fishing tournament series in the world, with teams coming from at least 30 countries to participate. THE HEPCAT out of Puerto Jiménez with Captain Cory Craig who specializes in inshore fishing, assisted by an English-speaking mate, is a custom-built 27-foot Ocean Runner center console fitted with twin 175hp Suzukis. She is equipped with Simrad 10" Sounder/GPS, VHF radio, Sony stereo, head (toilet) inside the console, outriggers, Cannon electric downriggers, center rigger, 70 gallons of live well space (20 gal in transom, 50 gal in deck well), and carries Shimano rods, Shimano reels, Eagle Claw hooks, Gamma leaders, Temple Fork fly rods and reels, Aftco fighting harness, an Aftco kite and an abundant array of lures.
